MARCH: THE BEST (CURATED BY US)

We say ‘the best’ a lot. “Have the best day.” “I just listened to the best podcast.”  “I found the best vintage store.” So much so we decided to turn what’s inspiring us the most into a series.

Welcome to “The Best Series.” Our new curated list of books, music, recipes, shops, people and more that we took the time to stop and enjoy. We hope you love them as much as we do.

THE BEST OF MARCH

This month we’re talking about all things social and everything you need to throw the best dinner party.

EAT

Chef. Writer. Emmy-nominated TV Host. Sophia Roe is a jack of all trades with a passion for food rooted in an understanding of advanced food justice. Her cauliflower fried rice is the dish to serve at your next get-together.

DRINK

Our friends at Helen’s have been serving up naturally-driven and organically farmed labels, small production vineyards, winemakers with integrity, lower intervention elevage & dynamic thoughtful wines since 2015. You should too!

BRING

A hostess (or host) can never have too many dish towels and we found the best ones yet at Shoppe Amber Interiors.

WEAR

The best thing to wear as the host or guest is something you feel comfortable and confident. Aje–a contemporary Australian fashion brand dedicated to raw beauty, tough femininity and effortless cool–will do just that.

DECORATE

One of our favorite blogs, Cup of Joe, gives their tips and tricks on arranging flowers bought at the grocery–because they can be the best too.

SET THE TABLE

The best evening starts with a thoughtfully curated table styled to make every meal special. We start with bold centerpieces from Rosemary Home.

LISTEN

The better the playlist, the better the party. We’ve been listening to this Avett Brothers musical soundtrack on repeat all season.

START A CONVERSATION

READ

Female misogyny is a problem. Writer, Camille Charriere tackles the issue head-on for you to bring to the table.

WATCH

We’re happy to admit we binged it. The Apple TV series follows sculpture-turned builder Anthony Esteves and clothing designer Julie O’Rourke of Rudy Jude (the coolest plant dyed clothing designed in Maine and made in LA) as they handbuild the Soot House in Maine.

GIVEBACK

Gently used clothing for the entire family to Bloom Marin who provides two weeks' worth of free clothing and hygiene kits to families in need. Start the conversation so you and your guests can get involved.

WHILE YOU PREP

Make the most of preparation with a podcast that will have you laughing and thinking simultaneously. We are currently loving “Under the Influence” by Jo Piazza.

POST PARTY

Unwind from the evening with our favorite CBD treats from Molly J.

HELP US FILL IN THE BLANK
