Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear. 

  • 100% Italian leather in black calf. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers. 
  • 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader.
  • Spanish silver and gold plated metal grommets. Please note this hardware may patina over time.
  • Studded welt leather sole with rubber layer for enhanced durability. 
  • 0.25" rubber heel.
  • We have improved our fit! Please take your normal US size.
  • Slip-on with adjustable buckle strap.

The SERA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.

    Comfy and Unique

    I got the brown mesh sandals after searching for a dupe but not finding anything in a similar color. I love the brown as is goes with everything and I get a ton of compliments on these (and all my Fredas). For me these were comfy right out the box but did require some breaking in to be a comfortable walking shoe. I walk a few miles a day and these were completely comfy on the third day. I didn’t get blisters at any point from these even during the breaking in period. I can’t wait to buy another pair once I decide which one

    Cute but need break in

    I preface this review by saying i have 9 pairs of Fredas because i love the style, fit and comfort of their boots and sandals. I bought the dove white fisherman studs sandal because i loved the comfort and look of the black ones I own. Unfortunately, after a day of wearing the dove white pair, I had a blister from the strap. The leather of the dove white pair was much stiffer than the black pair. Now I can only wear them with a stocking to prevent another blister. I am hoping they will break in after more wearing. I wanted to buy these in more colors, but am hesitant.

    cool girl flats

    I've been wanting a pair of these for a couple seasons now but could never make a color choice. When the olive colorway was released I knew they were the perfect neutral. As others have remarked, they are perfectly broken in right out of the box. As always, Freda shoes just check all the boxes.

    Beautiful sandals, but too narrow for me

    I ordered these sandals in my normal size and a half size larger in hopes that at least the larger size would fit, but unfortunately these were too narrow for me. They are quite beautiful and well-made, and it's possible that with some wear they would stretch a little, but I don't want to risk it for the price.

    Comfy

    I got a size 9 in these. I’m usually an 8.5, but the 8.5s were too tight. The 9s are comfortable, even though they still look a little big.
