A tougher fisherman sandal. Made by hand in natural vegetable leather, the SERA is classic with the caged upper and padded footbed but reimagined this season with cool gold studs. Channel a borrowed-from-the-boys look with tailored pants, or go feminine with a flowy dress.
Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.
- 100% Italian leather in natural vegetable calf. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Silver. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
- 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader and leather contains no PFAs.
- Studded leather welt
- Italian gold-plated metal studs. Please note this hardware may patina over time.
- Leather sole with a rubber spay for enhanced durability
- 0.25" rubber heel
This material will begin to soften and form to your foot with wear. Before you know it, they will become your everyday favorite.
- This style is fitting roomy. If you are narrow or fluctuate between sizes, please size down.
- Custom buckle on ankle strap for adjustability

Vegetable tanning is a traditional process where the cowhide is treated with plant-based tannins, so it develops a patina over time. This means shoes made in this very natural leather will develop a beautifully aged look. Keep in mind that the surface of the leather is not treated with chemicals or finishes so there may be minor variations to the leather that define their uniqueness.
To clean, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dirt. You can apply neutral, non-lanolin wax to revive and restore leather. Do not use any leather soaps, cleaners, or conditioners with lanolin. When not in use, store your shoes in a box or dust bag. We recommend cleaning periodically or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.
The SERA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.
