Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.
- 100% Italian leather in bone calf. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Silver. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
- 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader.
- Leather stitched welt
- 1" Rubber sole
This material may feel snug when you first put them on. This is normal as they begin to soften and form to your foot. Before you know it, they will become your everyday favorite.
- Available in whole sizes only. If you are in between sizes, we recommend half sizing up.
- Custom metal buckles on all straps for a seamless fit

Our tumbled and smooth calf leathers are very high quality and, with proper care, should last for years.
Calf is a durable leather but is still susceptible to marks with wear. To protect the leather, gently wipe the product with a soft, damp cloth and dry the leather immediately after, away from direct heat and sunlight. Then, apply a leather protection cream or wax. Please test the cleaner on a small portion of your shoe to ensure there won't be discoloration before applying all over. We advise against using any cleaning products containing solvents which affect the leather's surface finishing. Also, avoid colored creams. We recommend cleaning periodicially or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.

The PIPER is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.

I stalked these sandals for weeks & finally pulled the trigger when they were offered in a sample sale. I’m so glad I did! They’re incredibly comfy - I work in retail & can be on my feet for hours. The footbed is padded and slightly molded. Even after a long shift my feet still feel great. They’re also super cute. Every time I wear them I get compliments. I usually wear a 7 1/2, but sized up to an 8 as suggested. The adjustable straps make it easy to customize the fit. If you’re on the fence, go for it! You won’t be sorry.

I didn’t have high hopes for these sandals, Birkenstock’s never fit my feet right. They ARE A DREAM. I didn’t want to take them off. The leather is gorgeous and soft, the buckles are truly adjustable to hold my narrow feet and the footbed is soft and supportive.

Beautiful sandal, but it’s tough when you where a half size and are forced to have a shoe slightly too big or slightly too small. Because of this, the foot bed doesn’t quite fit as it should and is not too comfortable yet. Also left cuts on my toes the first wear. Hoping they break in and all of this isn’t a problem later because I really do like them. For reference I sized up to a 9 based on the websites recommendation. But maybe it’s better to go down in size.

These sandals are so comfortable and so on trend right now. I went back and forth, but I'm so glad I purchased these, as this type of style is everywhere right now and Freda has done a phenomenal job to make them more feminine. The footbed is incredibly comfortable and easy to walk around in. I'd definitely recommend!
