Classic and functional–our iconic rain or shine boot is an everyday essential and known for its comfort, lightness and versatility. Handcrafted in Spain.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian water resistant leather in black calf. Leather contains no PFAs.
  • 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • Studded welt 


  • Fitting true to size.
  • Pull-on chelsea boot with elastic panels 
  • 5.75" shaft and 9.75" calf circumference (Measurements are taken from a size 7 and will scale depending on your size.)
  • DIEGO is the last used for this boot. Learn more about lasts here. 
  • 2” lightweight foam rubber sole

BROOKE is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. Our components are developed and tested with neighboring factories in Elda, and perfected by FREDA’s design team in Sausalito. Every pair of the women's waterproof chelsea boot is hand finished down to the sole.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE

    I bought these on sale back in July and wore them for the first time today. The minute I pulled them out of the box, I was in love, but skeptical. They were so lightweight - but would the stretchy part be comfortable? Would they be too tight with a thick sock? And to my complete shock, they were easy to get on, fit like a glove and after a full day of wearing them, are completely comfortable. This is all to say, I love them! And I think you will too. And if the price right now is a tidge to steep for you, maybe they'll have another sale next summer!

    Comfy, light and high quality!

    I pined after these for a year before making the investment and I am really glad I finally did it. They are so light and comfortable right out of the box! They honestly feel like sneakers but with the polish of a boot.

    Fabulous and customer support was amazing

    First, these boots are so comfy and chic, I am so glad I bought them. And second, I can’t explain how amazing the customer support is with this brand. I originally ordered a different style of shoes, which ended up hurting my feet, and the team immediately said they’d love to make it right, even though I had ordered them from a third party provider, which they absolutely did not have to do. I got a credit I then used to buy these, which are amazing but the real winner is the customer support. Thank you team!
