Your must-have fringe loafer that sold out in one week—super soft suede in a low profile loafer with fringe and lace rings. Equal parts comfortable and effortlessly cool. Handcrafted in El Salvador.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in blush suede. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Silver. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • Unlined.
  • Silver lace grommets.
  • Padded leather footbed.
  • Sueded leather sole. 
  • 0.25" heel.
  • In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is in tact.

This style is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    SOFT, EVERY DAY SHOE

    I wear these all the time! They go with everything and are so soft. The suede felt snug at first, but eased up with wear and perfectly molded to my feet. They fit TTS (I usually wear an 8, and stuck with an 8 in these).

    Great shoes. Runs large

    I'm normally a size 8 and could have gone with a 7.5. They felt right when I tried them on but stretched quite a bit after wearing them around the house (of course I had already removed the bottom stickers so I couldn't exchange.) Either way, these shoes are gorgeous and pretty comfortable. I bought an insole to take up some room and I'm actually glad it ended up this way because I wear loafers without socks and now I can replace the insole when necessary without having ruined the one that came built in.

    worth every penny!

    I loooove these loafers! They were snug when I first tried them on out of the box, but I wore them around my house for an hour or so and the suede softened up like butter. Now I feel like they were made for me! They're sooo comfortable and really beautifully made, and I feel like they'll just continue to get better the more I wear them. I'm really glad I stuck with them!

    Runs Short and Narrow

    I have a narrow heel and a pretty average forefoot. I have probably 7 pairs of Fredas, all of which fit me like a bespoke shoe. I had to shove my foot into my normal size 7.5 and they felt short and tight. The suede is soft so it probably would’ve stretched width wise but I’ve never had luck with a short shoe stretching. I exchanged for an 8 and hope they fit because they are beautiful!!

    So disappointed in these i could cry. I love Freda shoes and have several. I bought these on clearance so i can’t return. I am a true size 7 and i cant fit my foot in them. They fit like a 5.5 or 6. I measured them up to my other freda mocs and these dont even come close. Waist of almost $300. If you want them order at least 1 full size up.
