This style is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    So comfy I don’t even want to take them off!

    I’d been eyeing these for a while and finally used some reward points to give myself a little discount —no buyers remorse here! Right out of the box they were super comfortable; wore them two days in a row with no blisters. They are very cushiony and are already conforming to my feet nicely. As always, Freda’s customer service team was top notch, friendly and responsive when I had a question. Highly recommend!

    So comfortable

    These are absolutely comfortable out of the box. I needed to get these in 6.5 - my regular shoe size is 6. The 6 stretched out and fit but they were hard to get on - I prefer 6.5 since it was just easier to wear.
