Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in espresso suede. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Registered. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers. Gold-plated metal coin in the penny keeper.

The ELBA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    Best ever!

    I just got the brown suede Elba loafers and they are fantastic. Comfortable out of the box even without socks. Just ordered another pair in black. I don't write reviews, but shows are often hard to fit. Obsessed!

    I lusted over these shoes for two years...and I finally purchased them, only to realize that they didn't fit my foot. So I'm writing the review I wish existed when I purchased them: these loafers don't fit a high arch foot. I LOVED them, I ordered a size up, I planned for every alternative I could think of, and I just could NOT get my fit into them. They are as gorgeous as I dreamed they would be, and the leather and craftsmanship is second to none, but alas, every shoe doesn't fit every foot and the quality of the leather just wasn't stretchable to accomodate my arch.

    Beautiful- half size up

    First, the blue color is absolutely beautiful. Interesting design. I read reviews to try to figure out sizing, and thought I would be OK with my usual size. Unfortunately, it was so tight, I could barely even get on, and absolutely couldn't wear. I returned for a half size up, and the fit is perfect. My feet are on the wide side, so maybe if you have narrow feet your normal size will fit, otherwise, you'll probably need to go a little bigger. Fortunately the exchange process was super fast and easy, and they got the new size out as soon as I shipped the first pair back.
