Classic and endlessly comfortable–our iconic penny style is known to be the most comfortable, exceptionally made and detailed loafer out there. Handcrafted in El Salvador.
Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.
- 100% Italian leather in espresso suede. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Registered. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers. Gold-plated metal coin in the penny keeper.
- 100% Calf leather lined
- Leather notched welt
The soft nature of this material should make for a seamless fit right out of the box.

The ELBA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

This loafer is very solid. I wore it for eight hours on the very first wearing. And my foot did not get so sore. I love the way it feels and the way it wears! It is true to size!

I have ordered another pair once the color is back in stock.
I am between an 8.5 and 9. First ordered the 9 and was too big — the 8.5 fits with room.
