Classic and endlessly comfortable–our iconic penny style is known to be the most comfortable, exceptionally made and detailed loafer out there. Handcrafted in El Salvador.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in black spazzolato. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Registered and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • 0.75" angled heel with leather sole
  • Leather and rubber split chip heel cap for enhanced durability
  • Fitting true to size

The ELBA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    The best loafer out there

    After trying and failing to find a comfortable loafer, I was happily surprised to slip into the Elba loafer to find that it is, in fact, the best out there. The hype is real and now I get it. The biggest test came with a full day of work on my feet with not a blister or bit of pain. Perfection. Now I need them in black.

    Classic comfort

    These shoes are perfect- literally- for anything. They have enough support and heel to support me in my job where I'm standing almost all day long (I'm a teacher). They are stylish and comfortable! I will say that they were very tight and gave me blisters the first few times I tried to break them in; but this is normal for true leather shoes. Keep working on them, and they will be your favorite shoe ever!

    Classic penny loafer

    I absolutely love this penny loafer but it does run big! I had to size down a half size but I really could have sized down a whole size. They stretch a bit when you wear them.
