What and who are you gifting FRĒDA to this year?
I’m more of an experiences vs gifts person, but there is something special about gifting a physical thing sometimes! So with that in mind, these are my top picks...JAMES Slippers — Great gift for moms or mothers-in-law.
STINSON Candle — Such cute gifts for friends!
FRĒDA x TJW Bandana — I love this as a hostess gift this season! You could even wrap a bottle of wine or a candle with it in lieu of wrapping paper.
What’s on your personal FRĒDA wish list?
I'm eyeing a few holiday styles including the gold JADA ballet flats and the sparkly boots.
Why do you love gifting FRĒDA?
I love investing in small, woman-owned businesses and FRĒDA is at the top of my list! I'm confident that the products are well-made and made responsibly, and that they'll last for years and years to come.
To you, what makes a great gift?
I think a great gift is one that is thoughtful and demonstrates that you know the person you're giving the gift to.
What is one of your favorite gifts you’ve ever been given?
Personally, my favorite gifts are always experiences or trips, like a special dinner out or little getaway to Big Sur. I'm also obsessed with getting little handmade gifts from my kids.

Definitely gifting some jewelry & hair pins from my brand Natalie Borton Designs this season!
What and who are you gifting FRĒDA to this year?
The SIMPSON crossbody pouch – I am gifting my mom and my girlfriends!! (hi girlfriends).
The Red Cap Cashmere Crew Socks – everyone that knows me knows the getting and giving socks is one of my favorite holiday traditions.
The WILLOW Wallabee – SOOOO cute and the perfect gift for that person who has everything.
What’s on your personal FRĒDA wish list?
My personal gift wish list (well I have two) I really want a pair of the JADA woven ballet flats in red AND the HENRIETTA Lug sole boot for traveling to the snow.Why do you love gifting FRĒDA?
I LOVE gifting FRĒDA because it’s a brand that I live in. I love that it is female founded, I love that the shoes are handmade, I love that I am a fan of every shoe FRĒDA makes and that comfort and effortless classic style is at the soul of this brand.
To you, what makes a great gift?
To me a great gift is a gift that comes from thoughtfulness, something that someone really wanted. A gift that isn’t just an excess of stuff or a large price tag but something that you know they will cherish and will be held onto for years to come. My parents bought me a pair of boots that I had been dreaming of in high school. I got them resoled every other year and kept them for 20 years and only just handed them down to a friend. That kind of love for something that is classic and can be worn for years to come is why I feel like FRĒDA is the perfect place to shop for all your favorite ladies.
What is one of your favorite gifts you've ever been given?
For my 40th birthday this year my husband got me a ring from Bayou with Love. The gold was recycled, the diamond was a grown diamond and the ring was designed by Nikki Reed with so much love and attention to detail. I know that I will give it to my daughters one day.

WHAT AND WHO ARE YOU GIFTING FRĒDA TO THIS YEAR?
I'm gifting my mom FRĒDA this year, and so excited to! The MIKO Tote came out and it literally screamed her name when I saw it. It's a gorgeous classic style tote that will carry all of her necessities whether traveling to visit some of my family in France or heading out to work or play!
WHAT’S ON YOUR FRĒDA WISH LIST?
I really want the JAMES slipper and the HENRIETTA boot. I’m a slipper girl, and love nothing more than stepping into a cozy slipper after a long day or hopping out of the shower. And the HENRIETTA is just the most gorgeous and elevated wintery boot! I love the chic details, the shearling tongue and know its a boot that will last many fall and winter seasons to come!

I love gifting FRĒDA because I love giving gifts that are gorgeous, comfortable, and will last a lifetime. FRĒDA truly makes gorgeous shoes and accessories that will stand the test of time.

I love it when I'm given a thoughtful gift, even if it's something homemade. I love when I'm given something that reminds me that you care about me, and thought it through!

A bottle of Chenin Blanc from the year I was born.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’RE WISHING FOR THIS SEASON?
I would love the MERIT Complexion Set and the over-the-ear Apple headphones.
WHAT AND WHO ARE YOU GIFTING FRĒDA TO THIS YEAR?
The BESS Boot for my sister, who is spending most of her winter in Tahoe. This boot has become my newest FRĒDA fave this fall and as a new mom it's the perfect boot to chase after her two under two in the mountains.
The BROOKE for my mom. She rocks her FRĒDAs well and would love this brown suede style. Practical but cool Mom!
The WILLOW for my Nana. These are the coolest and will keep her toes warm all winter.

WHY DO YOU LOVE GIFTING FRĒDA?
FRĒDA has long been a favorite boot brand of mine (for comfort and style) and I love to share my favorite pairs while supporting this amazing SF-based brand with my friends and family.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT GIFT?
Anything thoughtful! I love supporting smaller brands and designers especially this time of year and gifting those special found pieces from more unique local stores.
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE GIFTS YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
I'm such an “experiences” person so a surprise trip that my husband booked and planned for me shortly after the holidays. It was so fun not knowing where we were going and especially a treat to have him plan all of the details (babysitting included!).
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’RE WISHING FOR THIS SEASON?
Yes, I'm gifting this sweatshirt (this site has such playful and fun styles for the art lover in your life). Lots of wine (favorites from Scribe and Reeve tied with velvet ribbon). And sweet ornaments from Parterre!

A great gift is one where you can tell the gift giver has put thought into it and that gift was purposefully chosen for you!
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE GIFTS YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
One of my favorite gifts I've ever been given was from my son in first grade. He made me a piece of pottery at school and glazed it clear. He said, "Mommy, I know you love neutral colors so I kept mine natural." It was really touching, and I know how hard it was for him to not use any bright colors like all his friends.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU’RE WISHING FOR THIS SEASON?
I love all-natural skincare brands, one of my latest faves is a balm by a local brand called Nectura, made of calendula, CBD, chamomile and moringa. Calming and moisturizing and all natural!
