RALF is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. Our components are developed and tested with neighboring factories in Elda, and perfected by FREDA’s design team in Sausalito. Every pair of the women's lace-up combat boot is hand finished from the custom grommet eyelets down to the sole.

Our tumbled and smooth calf leathers are very high quality and, with proper care, should last for years.
Calf is a durable leather but is still susceptible to marks with wear. To protect the leather, gently wipe the product with a soft, damp cloth and dry the leather immediately after, away from direct heat and sunlight. Then, apply a leather protection cream or wax. Please test the cleaner on a small portion of your shoe to ensure there won't be discoloration before applying all over. We advise against using any cleaning products containing solvents which affect the leather's surface finishing. Also, avoid colored creams. We recommend cleaning periodicially or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.

I LOOOVE this boot, but I ordered a size that was a little too small for me. I was disappointed but Ayliah was absolutely amazing. She helped me with an exchange and even honored the sale price! I shop a lot of high end brands and this is without a doubt the BEST customer service I’ve experienced! Thank you Ayliah!SizingRated -1.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2

Rarely do products exceed expectations anymore - these do. Some of my favorite details: strong but delicate laces, rubber layer below leather sole that even “luxury” brands don’t give you…ok, I love everything about them!! I thought I wanted the ACE because that’s what pulled me in, but these are more versatile to dress up/down. They’re so pretty they don’t need more heel. Maybe I’ll have to get the ACE in brown suede for Summer. I did go with my usual size (6) and they are snug as noted but I do believe they’ll absolutely mold to my feet over the years that we will be together.

Listen! These boots are the ENTIRE and COMPLETE truth. I usually wear a size 9. When shoes/boots run small U wear a 9.5 or 10. Not knowing the fit, I ordered a zuze 10, but exchanged for a 9.5. This boot us BEAUTIFUL, the leather is superb, the silver hardware is like jewelry. The fit is PERFECT and they are very comfortable. Worth EVERY penny. BRAVO Freda Salvador!
- TBTaylor B.Verified Buyer2 years agoReviewingRALF LACE UP BOOTRated 4 out of 5 starsGorgeous shoes! Would purchase again. AND wide feet natives, beware!
I love these boots. They're absolutely incredible. My dream boot, aesthetically-speaking. I can't say this enough. I usually wear a 9 but went up a size, per Freda Salvador's recommendation for people with wide feet. They were still *really* tight though. I wish I had gotten a 10. I stretched the leather out myself, mostly by wearing them, but this was actually pretty painful and I had to do it really slowly. I know this is not recommended so I own all responsibility for that choice. I had to make it work given I'd just spent $500. I will also say that these boots are really hard on my knees. I live in Seattle WA and walk around * a lot*. My knees have felt sore ever since purchasing and wearing them for every day wear. I'm purchasing insoles to relieve this problem. So! Make sure you get the right size and you might want some insoles.
