A loafer at heart, elevated with a walkable heel. Crafted and lined in buttery soft Italian calf leather for comfort and polish in equal measure.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is in tact.

The ANNA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    Love 'em!

    I was looking for a pair of shoes that gave off a little quirky The Row / Prada energy and that were comfortable enough to do 15K steps+ in NYC. These fit the bill! I sized down (I'm usually an 8.5 and went for an 8) and they rubbed on the backs of my ankles a bit the first wear, but they've been good as gold ever since. Great transitional shoe which works great with jeans and will be perfect for fall/winter. Quality is also great, bc Freda. Happy I found these!

    THE Fall Shoe

    I know I can always rely on Freda to release timeless styles, and the Anna Loafer is exactly what I needed for fall/winter! Above all else, they are made beautifully well and are comfortable straight from the box. I am pregnant with minimal swelling, but plan to wear these exclusively with socks and have a wider forefoot, so I did size up from my usual 7.5 to an 8, as that left my toes relaxed in the toe box and no rubbing at the heel. The adjustable ties keep my feet from sliding.
