This style is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    Great loafer!

    Gorgeous Loafer

    I absolutely love my Freda Salvador shoe collection. These loafers are beautiful. I read in the reviews that they ran small so I ordered up. However, for me, they do run true to size so I ended up with my true size 8.

    Couldn't be happier.

    Sizing Tricky But Worth the Trouble

    Typically a size 8 in Freda. These arrived in all their glory but my toes pressed into the front of the shoe. After a quick consult with the Freda team, they recommended a half size up. The 8.5 finally arrived only to be slightly loose. My feet are on the narrow side, so perhaps this is why. These shoes are beautifully made like all Fredas and go with nearly every outfit I own. Worth the sizing trouble to have a true staple shoe in the mix.
