Classic and endlessly comfortable–our iconic penny style is known to be the most comfortable, exceptionally made and detailed loafer out there. Handcrafted in El Salvador.

 

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in cognac calf. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Silver. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • The apron is 100% sheep shearling which is ethically sourced and organically raised.
  • 100% Calf leather upper and sock lining.
  • Leather notched welt.
  • 0.75" flared leather stacked heel with sueded leather sole.
  • In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is intact.
  • Fitting true to size

The ELBA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    My second pair of these Elba penny loafers- I have espresso, and now black.They’re sooo comfortable and I love the look! I work on my feet all day so comfort is essential, but so is style and these perfectly fit the bill for me for both!!! 🩷🩷🩷

    Love the quality but was a half size too large so having to buy inserts for heel. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but should have ordered an 8. Beautiful shoes though.

    These require a break in period.

    My boyfriend bought me these recently and I was looking forward to the no break in period, as previously mentioned by multiple reviews. Sadly, they require one and I’m not sure if this is specific for the style or color, but the ones I have are VERY stiff (especially on the side near the ankles). They are beautifully made but I was really looking forward to not having sore feet and this is not the case.
