I preface this review by saying i have 9 pairs of Fredas because i love the style, fit and comfort of their boots and sandals. I bought the dove white fisherman studs sandal because i loved the comfort and look of the black ones I own. Unfortunately, after a day of wearing the dove white pair, I had a blister from the strap. The leather of the dove white pair was much stiffer than the black pair. Now I can only wear them with a stocking to prevent another blister. I am hoping they will break in after more wearing. I wanted to buy these in more colors, but am hesitant.

I am so grateful I discovered these sandals. After 4 foot surgeries, my shoe options were practically non-existent. I ordered and returned dozens of astoundingly pricey shoes that claimed to be comfortable. I was pretty sure I’d never find sandals that I could walk in all day. Then I ordered these in red suede. I had low expectations but when I slipped them on, I was blown away. Comfortable right out of the box and undeniably cute. I ordered 3 more pairs over the next couple of months and I wear them with practically everything. I can attest that these are incredibly well made. After a season of hard use, they all look like new.

I just ordered my 5th pair in chocolate brown. As long as Freda Salvador makes these (forever, please), I will buy them.

For reference, I normally wear a 5 and the 5’s are a perfect fit.
