The knee-high statement. Handcrafted in black embossed croc, the LAINA is a dramatic update of an everyday kitten-heel boot with an elongated square toe, modern angled heel and effortless tall pull-on shaft. Balancing comfort with confidence, we love them in colder temps with sweeping hemlines on both dresses and coats.
We handcraft our shoes with the highest quality leather to last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear. These shoes may feel snug at first but will loosen as they break in.
- 100% Italian leather in black embossed croc

- 2.25" leather-wrapped heel with a rubber heel cap for enhanced durability

The LAINA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.
Our croc and snake leathers are embossed and printed on a calf leather base. Thicker leather is required to create this embossing, making it more susceptible to peeling or chipping. Please handle with care as any damage cause to the print cannot be restored. Due to this technique, there may be variation in color and placement of the print. This variation is intentional and part of our sustainable ethos to avoid leather wastage.
To clean, gently wipe with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth and dry immediately away from direct heat and sunlight. Please test the cleaner on a small portion of your shoe to ensure no discoloration before applying all over. We advise against using any cleaning products, as they will damage the leather. We recommend cleaning periodically or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.

I've been searching for the perfect knee-high black leather boots and found them, these are an instant classic IMO. The square-cut toe (versus pointed) and square block heel are incredible touches, as well as the croc effect. My only qualm is I didn't realize these are pull on – versus zip — which I don't love. We'll see how they hold up/hopefully the calf area doesn't stretch too much over time. I'm between 9 and 9.5 in Freda shoes and went with 9 in these based on customer service's recommendation. A bit snug and I can only wear them with THIN socks, but making it work/they should stretch!
