Our rain-or-shine Chelsea boot. Handcrafted with water-resistant algae calf leather, the BROOKE has a lightweight lug sole specially chosen for its comfort and bounce. Finished with our signature studded welt, these boots are an effortless pair to everything from a feminine dress to your favorite denim and trench coat.
Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.
- 100% Italian water resistant leather in algae water-resistant calf. Leather contains no PFAs.
- 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader.
- Studded leather welt
- 2” lightweight foam rubber sole
This material may feel snug when you first put them on. This is normal as they begin to soften and form to your foot. Before you know it, they will become your everyday favorite.
- Fitting true to size.
- 5.75" shaft and 9.75" calf circumference (Measurements are taken from a size 7 and will scale depending on your size.)

Our tumbled and smooth calf leathers are very high quality and, with proper care, should last for years.
Calf is a durable leather but is still susceptible to marks with wear. To protect the leather, gently wipe the product with a soft, damp cloth and dry the leather immediately after, away from direct heat and sunlight. Then, apply a leather protection cream or wax. Please test the cleaner on a small portion of your shoe to ensure there won't be discoloration before applying all over. We advise against using any cleaning products containing solvents which affect the leather's surface finishing. Also, avoid colored creams. We recommend cleaning periodicially or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.

BROOKE is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. Our components are developed and tested with neighboring factories in Elda, and perfected by FREDA’s design team in Sausalito. Every pair of the women's waterproof chelsea boot is hand finished down to the sole.

If you are hesitant, please don't and buy the boots! They are the most versatile boots I own. Can be dressed up or down. Living in Canada, it is difficult to look stylish during a polar vortex, but these boots have put a stop to that. I find that the brown color can accompy any colored outfit, perfection every time I wear them. The height of the shaft hits at the most appropriate place as they can be worn either cropped jeans, long pencil skirts, trousers... Bonus, they are rain (snow!) resistant. Beatiful work by FS!

I have these in black and brown and I wear them non-stop. They are comfortable right out of the box and so light to walk in. Plus they are actually gorgeous and so stylish. I have several pairs of FS shoes and love adding to my collection. They are the best!
