CARE_VEGETABLE TANNED
Vegetable tanning is a traditional process where the natural cowhide is treated with plant-based tannins, so it develops a patina over time. This means shoes made in this very natural leather will develop a beautifully aged look. Keep in mind that regular sun exposure, natural grease, moisture and sweat might have a darkening effect on the leather.
To clean, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dirt. You can apply neutral, non-lanolin wax to revive and restore leather. Do not use any leather soaps, cleaners, or conditioners with lanolin. When not in use, store your shoes in a box or dust bag. We recommend cleaning periodically or as needed to keep your FRĒDAs looking brand new.
