Classic and functional–our iconic rain or shine boot is an everyday essential and known for its comfort, lightness and versatility. Handcrafted in Spain.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian waterproof leather in brown suede. Our waterproof suedes have an internal membrane to prevent water from penetrating the leather, keeping the foot protected. The surface of the suede has not been treated so a normal suede treatment should be applied before getting wet.
  • 100% Spanish leather lined. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader and leather contains no PFAs.
  • Studded welt 


  • Fitting true to size.
  • Pull-on chelsea boot with elastic panels 
  • 5.75" shaft and 9.75" calf circumference (Measurements are taken from a size 7 and will scale depending on your size.)
  • DIEGO is the last used for this boot. Learn more about lasts here. 
  • 2” lightweight foam rubber sole

BROOKE is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. Our components are developed and tested with neighboring factories in Elda, and perfected by FREDA’s design team in Sausalito. Every pair of the women's waterproof chelsea boot is hand finished down to the sole.

    Love these boots! So comfortable that I’d buy the in another color!

    These boots are pretty and also very practical. I was able to test out the waterproofing out and they were great! I bought a slightly larger size simply because I have wide feet and wanted to wear warm socks with them.

    Beautiful boot

    Beautiful, lightweight boot! Just wish the insole was more cushy. I appreciate it comes in a 10 1/2 where so many brands don’t make that size.

    Excellent color and fit

    I wasn’t sure about these when I ordered- but absolutely love everything about them. They are so comfortable, light on the feet, and go with practically everything. The color is light but not whitish- seem to go with any color. Very happy - ordered the black recently too.

    Everyone needs a pair or two!

    These are my second pair of Brooke's because they are that good! They are so flattering and comfortable! I am outside in all kinds of weather for my sons' sports and these are perfect everyday boots! Get them! Also, customer service is amazing 🩷
