Modern and cool–this ballet will add a hint of 90s nostalgia to your vibe with its artisanal open weave that subtly exposes the foot. Handcrafted in Spain.
Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.
- 100% Spanish leather in black woven calf. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
- Unlined and flexible as a perfect ballet should be.
- Padded leather footbed.
- In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is in tact.
- Fitting true to size.
- The ruched heel adds grip for your step—it may feel snug at first but will loosen and mold to your foot as they become part of your everyday.
- Slip-on.

The way the leather is on the front toe bed hurts when I walk but other than that they are very oretty

I have the woven flat in cream and now black. I reach for them constantly. They are comfortable and versatile, and sooo easy to slip on as I head out the door. They instantly elevate any look. They walk the line between fun and classic.

I want to say right off that these shoes were absolutely beautiful right out of the box. I loved the style of them. I loved the metallic silver color. They literally went with everything. The fit though was not perfect right out of the box. These shoes need a very long break in period in order to feel somewhat comfortable. I am a spot on size 6 like 99% of the time. I could have used a 6.5 in these. my toes were very close to the end of the shoe. The seam that is on top of the toe box creates a lot of pressure on the toes if worn for a long period of time. The heel of the shoe is a little bit tight and will eventually start to create pressure as well and it leaves an indent on the back of the heel. I have been wearing them now for two months and have broken them a little that some of the issues on listed above are not so bad but two months is a long break in time. The quality of the materials and style of the shoes is enough for me to stay a customer and hopefully the next shoe I buy will be a better fit.

These shoes are super cute and definitely fulfill the need of wanting a sandal but not having your toes out (I.e. summer in the city). However, they are quite uncomfortable on the back of my heel and the fit is a bit funny. I will continue to try and break them in to see if that helps. I love all my Freda Salvador shoes and intend to continue giving these a try.
