Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Spanish leather in vanilla woven calf. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • Unlined and flexible as a perfect ballet should be.
  • Padded leather footbed.
  • 1.25" leather wrapped heel and sueded leather sole.
  • In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is in tact.
  • Fitting true to size.
  • Slip on.

The JAYLA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. See the factory.

    hurts my feet

    I was encouraged by the salesperson to get a 7.5 when I'm normally an 8 because she said the shoe would stretch. The woven part has stretched a bit, but not the main band at the top/throat. It is really uncomfortable and I haven't worn them even after trying to wet them, wearing with socks and heating the leather. I would recommend getting your normal size.

    Baby Blue Beauties

    I’ve been after a comfortable heel for a long time, and after much trial and error, I can confidently state that these are the perfect pair for me! I’ve always had luck with the woven Fredas molding to my feet and these are no exception—one wear and they softened around the heels and around my wider toe box. I’d say they fit true to size.

    jayla woven ballet heel.

    Love the shoes. They are always a bit tight so I take my Freda's to my shoemaker to have him stretch them for me. I also have the same shoe in silver. They are very comfortable and I can walk a distance in them. Also good for dancing shoes.
