Classic and effortlessly elevated–our iconic handwoven ballet is known to be so buttery soft and comfortable that you’ll never want to take them off. Handcrafted in Spain.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Spanish handwoven calf leather. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • Padded leather footbed
  • The JADA is fitting true to size.
  • Unlined and flexible as a perfect ballet should be.
  • GISELLE is the last used for this flat. Learn more about lasts here. 
  • Rubber sole for enhanced durability with 0.25" heel

The JADA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.

    I absolutely love my Freda Salvador Jada flats! They’re even more beautiful in person, and the quality is amazing.     This is my fourth pair of Jada flats- they are just that stylish and comfortable. The green adds that lovely pop of color and is incredibly versatile. Quality is simply the best!

    More painful than I thought 😭

    I was so excited to finally take the plunge on these flats! I went 1/2 size up because my typical size felt pretty tight in the toes (surprising because I have narrow feet). They have not felt like a dream so far - within about 20 mins the back feels like it’s grating my heels. I think maybe it’s the weave of the leather on the inside. Super disappointed because I’m hoping they’ll soften, but it’s painful on the way to break them in. Really bummed, because I like my other Freda shoes and these had such stellar reviews.
