A twist on our iconic BROOKE chelsea boot—meet the BAILEY, updated with oversized statement studs on the welt and finished with a lightweight lug sole. Versatile, cool, and made to wear on repeat. Handcrafted in Spain.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in sesame suede. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Registered and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • 100% Italian leather lined. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Silver.
  • Leather welt with big studs.
  • 2” lightweight foam rubber lug sole. 


  • Fitting true to size.
  • Pull-on chelsea boot with elastic panels 
  • 5.75" shaft and 9.75" calf circumference (Measurements are taken from a size 7 and will scale depending on your size.)

BAILEY is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft. Our components are developed and tested with neighboring factories in Elda, and perfected by FREDA’s design team in Sausalito. Every pair of the women's waterproof chelsea boot is hand finished down to the sole.

    Thrilling boot

    The boots are so cool. The foot is sleek and the sole is incredibly light. It perfectly shoots the gap between the utilitarian function of a Chelsea boot (waterproof, lug sole) and the aesthetic of a BAMF shoe (sneaky heel, golden suede). The larger nail heads add just a little bit of stank to the boot but the overall result is somehow more refined and enduring.

    They’re also comfortable. I wore everyday for a week right out of the box without issue. I’m a small 8US with regular width feet, narrow ankles, and high calves; an 8 fit well and looked great with a regular wool sock. Very grateful for the sale pricing that made the purchase possible. This will not be my last pair from FS.

    Absolutely worth it

    These are the most comfortable boots I’ve owned. They are lightweight, but so durable. I’ve had them for three months now and wear them regularly and they still look like I just took them out of the box. Would absolutely purchase again.

    Versatile and practical winter boot

    I bought these as I started dating someone in Chicago and having lived in LA for a decade was a stranger to snow and rain. These boots have been amazing! They are stylish, great in rain and and have a strong sole that has survived snow. I love them and now I’m moving here likely need them in more colours!

    Lightweight, fantastic winter boots

    I bought these as I am spending time in a colder climate for work. They are so light and comfortable, I’m seriously impressed. I used to hate chunky boots because they felt large and clumsy but these are like bouncy clouds. I love them!
