CARE_CANVAS_EDA
The EDA canvas sneaker has been made in Spain using certified GOT's organic cotton. We recommend hand washing or spot treating for regular cleaning, but the EDA Canvas can also be machine washed for a deeper clean.
SPOT CLEANING
What You’ll Need:
- Clear Liquid laundry detergent
- Warm Water
- Towel
- Soft-bristled brush
- Cloth or sponge
Step One: Make a cleaning solution by mixing one teaspoon of clear liquid laundry detergent with 2 quarts of warm water.
Step Two: For bad stains, use a dab of actual detergent to pretreat it. Work in the detergent using a soft-bristled brush. Let it sink in for 15 minutes (or more.)
Step Three: Use a sponge and the cleaning solution to scrub the rubber sole.
Step Four: Rinse the shoes by wiping with a cloth dipped in fresh water. Allow the shoes to air dry away from direct sunlight.
MACHINE WASHING
What You’ll Need:
- Clear laundry detergent
- Mesh sneaker bag
- Soft bristle brush
Step One: Unlace your shoes. You can wash them separately in the mesh sneaker bag if they need to be cleaned.
Step Two: For bad stains, use a dab of detergent to pretreat. Work in the detergent with a soft-bristled brush. Let it sink in for 15 minutes (or more).
Step Three: Pre-clean the rubber soles with a wet cloth if they are muddy. Then, place in mesh sneaker bag and wash in cold water using the delicate wash cycle. It’s best to wash with heavier items like towels to keep the machine balanced.
Step Four: After washing cycle ends, remove from the bag and air dry out of direct sunlight. Never machine dry! If the toes need shape you can stuff them with paper towels as they dry, but you must swap them out as they get wet.
