This July we are celebrating 13 years as a brand. We started FRĒDA as two best friends with a love for footwear and a mission to build community from the ground up. And here we are, doing exactly that.

It’s moments like these that we like to take the time to reflect on where we’ve been, where we are and who helped us get here. We wouldn’t be anywhere without our team–in San Francisco, Spain and El Salvador–truly a big family that made all our dreams come true. And then, of course, there is you, our community. You’ve helped us grow and create beyond what we could have imagined and supported us every step of the way. For that, we are forever grateful–we love you lots. 

So to celebrate, here are a few “pinch me” moments we’ve had together. 

OUR FIRST COLLECTION

Made by hand in El Salvador, at Cris’s grandfather’s factory! This is how we started and this collection will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

MINI FRĒDA CLASS

Community has always been a huge part of why we do what we do. In 2018, we did a class with a young group of girls that took them through our entire design process and they even got to take home their own shoe they made. It was so much fun and something we hope to do again. 

TAYLOR SWIFT WEARING US

Both of our daughters love her and we do too, so it was the ultimate thrill to see her wearing our EMI Boot on set directing her music “The Man.” Couldn’t have wished for a better song to be in our boots.

HANDBAGS BY FRĒDA

Handbags were a longtime dream for us as a brand. Being such a personal accessory, we spent years perfecting them. Your warm reception made every minute worth it and we can’t wait to bring you more!

FRĒDA PRESENTS

This was a moment where we really felt the power of community. With the help of a few of our FRĒDA Women, we brought together 150 people to connect. We left the event wanting to bottle all our emotions and gift it to you.
