Factory

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

100% Spanish leather in green woven calf. This tannery is a Leather Working Group Approved Trader and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
Padded leather footbed.
0.25" rubber heel and sueded leather sole.
In an effort to be less wasteful and keep your shoes looking good, we applied a thin film to the sole. Please remove and recycle prior to making these yours. If you plan to return, please ensure film is in tact.

Fitting true to size.
Unlined and flexible as a ballet shoe should be.

A half size up and in love!
This is my first pair of Frēdas, and I am a normal size 8 with an average width foot. Despite knowing these shoes will ease with time given the leather construction, I found the 8 to be way too snug in the toe box and too narrow. I sized up to an 8.5 and couldn't be happier - I actually feel the supportive sole and the general fit/width is way better than the 8. Break-in period as expected, but worth it. Getting many compliments in the office on these!

I think they are so cute, it does rub my heel a bit but I think just due to breaking in. So soft and comforatble othersiw!

Beautiful vibrant red color
This shoe is gorgeous, the color is the perfect deep red. Goes great with navy and white in the summer. It fits well and is soft out of the box. For my tender feet I had to use a band-aid the first time I wore them on the back edge but that is softening up nicely after a couple wears. Another beautiful high quality shoe from Freda, thank you! (And fantastic customer service as well)
