Classic and effortlessly elevated–our iconic handwoven ballet is known to be so buttery soft and comfortable that you’ll never want to take them off. Handcrafted in Spain.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • Padded leather footbed.
  • 0.25" heel.

The JADA is handmade at our family-owned factory in the traditional footwear town of Elda, Spain. Our leather is sourced from the finest tanneries across Italy. Each upper is cut, sewn and lasted by Spanish artisans who are experts in their craft.

    wonderful flat with an of-the-moment plaid feel

    this shoe is extremely comfortable. So comfy that I am considering taking it for a 2mi test walk around my house; if it does as well as I suspect it will, it will be coming on every urban trip I take. The woven tri-color provides a great textured neutral option that I am very into. Plus, for this season and all of the plaid, this shoe (and matching bag which of course I also purchased) makes me look and feel extra current and hip. But really, the most important aspect of this shoe is its comfort. The footbed is cushy (and I have terrible, post-bunion operation feet which are very high need for cushiness), the leather is soft and flexible, and the fit? *muah* perfection. I highly recommend this shoe. Though it is pricey, I suspect I will get *a lot* of use out of it this fall, and if it also comes with me on trips to the Northeast? Then cost per wear will drop precipitously.

    Cute & Comfy

    This was my first pair of Freda's, and I was NOT disappointed. I'm so pleased with the quality --the softness of the leather and especially the comfort of the foot bed. They're super cute and versatile. I have a narrow foot and these fit just right.
